Terms of Service
These are the terms of the deal between you and TrainPrime. We wrote them to be read, not skimmed. Using the app means you accept them.
1. Medical disclaimer — the important one
TrainPrime is a training tool, not medical advice. High-intensity training to muscular failure is demanding. Before starting this or any exercise program, talk to a doctor — especially if you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, joint injuries, are pregnant, or haven't trained in a long time.
- Stop immediately if you feel pain (not muscle burn — pain), dizziness, or chest discomfort.
- Training alone carries real risk on free-weight barbell lifts. The app flags these and suggests safer alternatives — take those warnings seriously.
- You train at your own risk. To the maximum extent the law allows, TrainPrime is not liable for injuries sustained while training.
You must be at least 18 to use TrainPrime.
2. Your subscription
- TrainPrime is a subscription (monthly, 3-month or yearly), billed by Stripe. The price and billing period are shown at checkout before you pay.
- New subscriptions start with a 3-day free trial: you add a card up front but pay $0 for the trial. Billing starts automatically when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then.
- Cancel any time from the billing portal — you keep access until the end of the paid period. No cancellation fees, no retention tricks.
3. The Strength Guarantee
The deal, exactly as the app tracks it:
- Follow the method for 8 weeks: train at least twice a week, take your working sets to verified failure (at least 80% of them), and respect every recovery lock.
- “Tracked strength” is the average percentage change in logged load across every exercise you record at least twice inside the window. An exercise logged only once can't be compared and is not counted.
- “Hours in the gym” is a model, not a stopwatch: every logged working set is charged at a flat 3minutes, covering the set and the rest that follows it. Warm-ups and sets you didn't complete are not counted, and neither are sessions logged before your window started. The same model is shown to you in the app's Time Saved breakdown.
- If that average is below +10% at the end of the window, or your modelled gym time comes to more than 20 hours across the eight weeks, you get 2 months free. Either one failing is enough — you do not have to miss both. The app shows both numbers live, your claim status, and generates your redemption code.
- The guarantee covers subscription credit, not cash refunds, and requires honest logging — the compliance checks exist so the guarantee can't be gamed, in either direction.
4. The AI coach
The coach answers from a curated library of real, peer-reviewed studies and marks how confident each answer is. It's good, but it's software: it can be wrong, and it is not a doctor, physiotherapist, or dietitian. Sanity-check anything that affects your health.
5. Your data
Covered in the Privacy Policy. Short version: your data is yours, we don't sell it, and you can delete it from inside the app.
6. Fair use
- One account per person. Don't share credentials or resell access.
- Don't abuse the AI coach or the support form (rate limits apply).
- We can suspend accounts that abuse the service or attempt to defraud the guarantee.
7. Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continued use after that means you accept the new terms.
